How Your Documents Are Processed

When you upload VDR documents (production history, check stubs, well lists, division orders), they are sent to Anthropic's Claude API for extraction. The extracted data is used to run our deterministic valuation engine entirely in your browser.

No Data Storage

• No VDR documents are stored on Rowland's servers after processing completes. Documents are sent to the API, extracted, and discarded.
• Evaluation results exist only in your browser session. Closing the tab deletes everything. No results are saved server-side.
• No data is shared with third parties other than Anthropic for document processing (see below).

Anthropic API & Data Handling

Anthropic's API operates under a zero-data-retention policy for API usage. This means:

• Anthropic does not store your inputs (documents) or outputs (extracted data).
• Anthropic does not train on data submitted through their API.
• Your VDR data is processed and immediately discarded by their systems.

Efficient Markets Integration

When using Efficient Markets deal URLs, data is fetched from EM's API per your existing EM account permissions. Rowland does not store EM deal data beyond the active browser session.
